FoodCapture to prevent malnutrition

According to new research, 1 out of 3 patients in Norwegian hospitals is malnourished.

Østfold Kalnes Hospital Trust is now set to implement the solution to prevent malnutrition with the aim of improving the quality of nutritional work, involving the patient in their own nutrition, and simultaneously contributing to strengthening patient safety.

One department has already tested the solution, and upon implementation, FoodCapture’s app will be integrated with the staff’s service phone.

CEO of DNV Imatis, Johan Folkunger, states, “We are excited to collaborate with FoodCapture AS. This collaboration supports our focus on innovation and commitment to creating forward-thinking solutions with the patient at the centre. We believe in the role of digitisation in improving clinical practice and patient outcomes, and this collaboration is another step in that direction.”

By integrating our technologies, we can enhance the way the clinic monitors and manages nutritional intake, which is essential for patient care.”

The collaboration will strengthen both companies’ positions in the digital transformation of healthcare.
