MyPath achieves significant milestone
In a significant development, the MyPath project has reached a new milestone in its mission to improve cancer care. The project, which aims to develop innovative digital patient-centred care pathways (PCCPs), has delivered a first “proof-of-concept” solution to project partners this February.
The MyPath project is working towards better patient outcomes and clinical efficiency by implementing standardised patient-centred care according to established guidelines. The proof-of-concept solution is a significant step in this direction.
Further refinement
The solution will be used in co-creation workshops involving clinicians and researchers in the coming months. This will allow for further refinement based on the insights and findings from the first year of project activities.
MyPath milestone implementation
The project is also planning to start implementing the MyPath digital solution gradually across nine cancer centres throughout Europe, commencing this autumn. Our ambition is to translate the proven concept of patient-centred care into a seamlessly integrated practical reality within the field of oncology.
The MyPath digital solution is a set of applications that help healthcare providers improve their services. It allows patient-reported symptoms to be integrated into hospital systems, which can then be used for coordinating activities and as a basis for guided consultations. It also provides clinical decision support for interventions and follow-up.
