Why work with us?

Work in a continuously evolving sector

The world is constantly evolving, with an ever-increasing need to adopt technology in healthcare services for more efficient and safe care. Digitisation entails using technology to improve, simplify and renew, enabling new and better services to be offered that boost value creation and innovation. At DNV Imatis, you will be at the forefront of the development that moves the health sector forward – both nationally and internationally.

Complete our diverse community

We are a complex and diverse group with a wide range of backgrounds, ages, knowledge and personalities that collectively make us strong and proud of our workplace. At DNV Imatis you have the freedom to be yourself, while we facilitate personal and professional development.

Help develop solutions that really matters

The biggest challenges faced by the health sector today relate to working methods and patient processes. The staffing shortage, especially for registered nurses, is largely due to burnout caused by heavy workloads and stress. Many of the systems in use are designed for managing tasks in desktop solutions, despite the extensive use of mobile devices in daily life. There is also frequently no capability for seamless information sharing or for the systems to communicate with each other. The patient–staff ratio is also becoming less favourable, and patients should not just be getting passed around in the system.

By providing real-time data across departments and units no matter what time of day or night it is or where you are, DNV Imatis’ digital interactive solutions ease the pressure on healthcare professionals considerably. Tasks, alerts and alarms are received directly on mobile devices, and combined with the digital whiteboards, this increases mobility and means more efficient patient care. This means that time-consuming and resource-intensive manual routines can be dispensed with. Bottlenecks and key data can easily be identified by department heads and units, all the way up to the top tier of management, which leads to operational improvements – benefitting the employees, patients and their families.

Be part of a global company

In July 2021, Imatis became part of DNV, a global company working in quality assurance and risk management, owned by the Det Norske Veritas foundation. DNV has over 12 000 employees and a presence in over 100 countries. Its head office is located in Høvik in Norway, and DNV Imatis employees living within the Greater Oslo Region are therefore based at DNV’s offices. This proximity to a broader professional sphere provides inspiration and fosters skills enhancement as part of daily life.
